Apple Back To School sale: Free Beats headphones with Mac & iPad Pro

Apple has launched a Back To School promotion, offering students and teachers a chance to get a free pair of Beats wireless headphones when they buy a Mac or iPad Pro from the Education Store.

Macs, including the brand new MacBook pro models, have up to £270/$200 off in the Education Store, and with any qualifying purchase you'll get Beats Solo3 Wireless headphones thrown in completely free of charge. They would normally cost you £250 from the Apple Store ($300 in the US) so that's a pretty great offer.

If you'd prefer an iPad Pro, you'll find education pricing available to save you some cash on the tablet itself, and again you'll get a pair of Beats headphones thrown in. This time they're the Powerbeats 3 Wireless headphones, worth £170/$200.

You'll also find 20% off AppleCare protection and select accessories, including the Apple Pencil.

Take a look at all of the deals available on Apple's Back To School page (UK). If you're in the US, you'll find the details of the Back To School page here.

In order to take advantage of the Back To School sale, which we expect will continue throughout July and August, you'll need to buy through the Education Store. This requires UNiDAYS verification. You can find out everything you need to know about shopping in the Education Store here.

Apple's Back To School sale comes just days before Amazon Prime Day, which is set to begin at midday on 16 July. Keep track of the best Amazon Prime Day Apple deals here.

It's well worth checking out our student deals hub for more great back to school offers, including 60% off Jabra Sport Coach headphones and 50% off the HP Sprocket Photo Printer.

The study followed the participants for 12 weeks. When compared to a matched historical control group from a previous weight loss trial on a different type of fasting, the researchers found that those who ...
